I dedicated Lūgšana to my dear sister Laila Māra. The title, in Latvian, means Prayer. This was Laila’s wedding march and she heard it for the first time during her wedding mass. Lūgšana was originally composed for the pipe organ (download PDF organ score.). Writing wedding marches for my sisters has become a tradition.
